Forney has always been a city that values community spirit—and this year, residents have a powerful opportunity to make their generosity go further. North Texas Giving Day 2025 is happening on Thursday, September 18, 2025, with early giving opening on August 28.

The annual giving marathon connects donors across the region with more than 3,500 nonprofits. Thanks to sponsor support, 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to the chosen charities, without transaction fees.

Here in Forney and nearby, several trusted organizations are ready to put your generosity to work.
